Optical Emission Spectrometry or "OES" is a highly-advanced process AQTS utilizes to determine properties of aluminum. Each analysis determines the weight percentage of each element tested within a prepared sample meets the desired chemical composition. Our testing methods align with ASTM standards.

Testing Process

Material samples provided by the client are prepared to meet ASTM standards. When the spectrometer has completed a full cycle it creates a detailed line-item result identifying various chemical compositions. These results assist the client to understand how a component may perform based on their own performance requirements.
